You don’t need strength to let go of something. What you really need is understanding.

The “heat and stress” is causing me to have acne.  I can’t do anything to fight those two, so I resorted to have an online search for ways to treat or prevent acne. I landed at Proactiv website and found out that it is endorsed by famous or well known entertainers; such as Mandy Moore [...]

A Father That Cares

Posted By Junelle on November 26th, 2007

My Mother was touched on the way my friends husband care for his daughter, because she hasn’t seen the same affection from the father of my children.

We went to my friends house days ago to  fit the dress we are going to wear for their church wedding. (They have been married on a civil one.)When we arrive there, the husband of my friend was not home yet, because he is on a night duty. When he finally arrived, he brought a fries and a burger for his daughter. My Mother really admires him in doing that.  My friend then added, she only gives him Php 50 (that is about US $1) everyday so that he would not spend a lot on anything. From that tight budget, he manages to save money to buy something for his daughter, that day we visited them. THAT TOO made me admire the HUMAN BEING he is and what a great father he has been.

The first time I saw this guy, I thought he is just a player. I know a bit of history about him and that he really has been a playboy. BUT he CHANGED.

My father used to be a playboy as well. But now, whatever storms my family encounter, I know for the fact that my fathers love for our family would be there to stay.

Caring and Love is best expressed in action … in fact I think it could not be express in just WORDS. I could say “I Love You” or “I Care For You” easily and without such feelings. In short, it could be faked. So words are not that reliable.

I have known a story in where the father is far from his kids and separated with the mother of his children. But as the law says it, the kids will stay at the mothers care, until they are old enough to decide on their own on where or to whom they would want to stay. The father would always prepare for this one day every week in where he could see his children. He rides a jeep and a boat, then a jeep again to get to his children. He does this every week. Tiring, but I guess it seems to be worth it. Not to mention he would again ride a jeep and a boat and a jeep again to be able to go home on that same day.

Now, would it be caring enough if one couldn’t even find time for his children? Even if it would just take 45 minutes of traveling by a jeep and much less if on a private car or a taxi. EVEN FOR JUST ONCE A MONTH at least 5 minutes of being with his children … DOES THIS PERSON DESERVE TO BE KNOWN BY HIS CHILDREN? DOES HE DESERVE TO BE RESPECTED? I DON’T EVEN KNOW IF HIS CHILDREN WOULD RECOGNIZE HIM. HE WILL GET WHAT HE DESERVES.

Shopping Sunday

Posted By Junelle on November 25th, 2007

I had a stressful day today. I went to a mall together with my Mom, manang Charing (yaya), Jun Hannah and June Hector. We just went there to buy milk and water for the kids. June Hector who rarely goes out of the house, enjoyed the shopping and of course much more Hannah because she walks around the mall as if it was her own.

By the time we are supposed to go home, I couldn’t start my car. CRAP! I called my cousin who is the one driving us on a daily basis, asked him on what to do. He told me to push an IC within the car. MY GOSH … I pushed it so hard that my thumby was hurt bad. Good thing we were able to go home with the car :)

Well, I hope we would have a new one when my Dad arrives. Even if it would be just a Php 25,000 car it would do for me, as long as it is a working one. I was thinking of a multicab. I could live with it.

As we were going home, Hannah was in the backseat together with yaya and Hector. I don’t know what has gotten into Hannah’s mind she hit her brother. Hector was crying hard so my Mom just separated them both by getting one of them in the front seat.

Oh, my Mom bought me a cup to use in the office. Lately, my Mom has been so understanding and I have been a bad one. I am not a good Mom that I admit, but I do everything for a reason.

Discipline for Hannah

Posted By Junelle on November 25th, 2007

I know that every mother wants the best for their children. Hannah has been so bad lately that I always lose my patience. This morning my Mom told me that she threw a container at her yaya and Jun Hector (her brother), because he yaya was holding Jun Hector. Thankfully, no one got hurt. This time, I just talked to her calmly telling her not to do it again. But sometimes, whenever I could touch something and I am out of patience, I discipline her hard.

I don’t want my daughter to grow old and have an attitude like her __. So as early as now, I make her learn the things she should. For her to grow well and disciplined.

Though I could see the bad side of disciplining her. I know in the future, it would bring good things for her. She learns to respect me now. This seems to be a good start for a bright future.

Home Shield

Posted By Junelle on November 24th, 2007

Living independently or without a man or a technician to help you with the electronics inside your home is hard. I on the other hand knows a bit of repairing things, but I am not as good as the professional ones.

Whenever there are things broken at home, we always prefer to get someone we know take a look at it. Of course, that someone we know should be an expert or a professional on the thing broken, example a computer, therefore we would look for a family friend that is a computer technician.  This is true when we are living near our friends and family members, but if we are living far from them, we need someone that we could trust to do the repair for us. American Home Shield is one of the services that offers repairs and that surely they could be trusted.

Tru Green

Posted By Junelle on November 24th, 2007

I always wanted to have a beautiful garden in my rest house. I always dreamed of sitting in my terrace and looking at a beautiful green garden in front of me. This is so comforting and peaceful for me. Perhaps someday, I could live this dream of mine, for now I am into planning.

If  you have the same dream as mine, you might need some professionals to help you build your dream garden. I think Tru Green is the answer to our prayers. They could provide landscape design and maintenance needs.

Now making our dream garden come true would be easy, with the help of Tru Green.

Pest Control

Posted By Junelle on November 24th, 2007

My Mom had made an extension of our house in where we could store the things we rarely use. We use to just put everything on a small space near our stairs, so cockroaches are eating every bit they could. That was the reason why my Mom hurried the making of our storage room.

Now with the storage room, we would not see things scattered and it would be much safer for us to walk the stairs without seeing any cockroaches. If pest will invade the storage room, we would just simply call the services like Terminix, to vanish pests away.
