You don’t need strength to let go of something. What you really need is understanding.

The “heat and stress” is causing me to have acne.  I can’t do anything to fight those two, so I resorted to have an online search for ways to treat or prevent acne. I landed at Proactiv website and found out that it is endorsed by famous or well known entertainers; such as Mandy Moore [...]

My MacBook Bag

Posted By Junelle on December 17th, 2007

I have been looking for a bag for my MacBook since the day I had it. I have been to forums, online shops, search on google and visiting computer shops, but I could not find what I wanted.

This weekend my parents and I went to the mall to buy shoes and dress for the baptismal and weddings that we are going to attend. Sadly, I haven’t found a good shoes that fits my size. That made me frustrated, and so I just walk away on the shoe area to relax my mind. I went inside The Travel Club shop and saw beautiful bags in there. I was able to see a bag that would be nice for my laptop and the things I bring in the office.

I have chosen a Hedgren bag that costs Php 4590. I really like the bag, not because it is expensive, but because it has a cute design that would match me. The durability of the bag is also a plus factor.

Here are the pics of the bag:

Now, I would be able to go to work with comfort.

If you are student then laptop is best for you. it provides you convenience to get rid of books. Many laptop accessories are available for support especially laptop batteries to use it for long period of time.

A friend sent ma forwarded message on my facebook and as I read my zodiac sign, some of it doesn’t seem to fit me.

long-term relationships [Yeah, love it. But can't seem to have it]. Can be clumbsy at times but tries hard [he he he ... this is really me]. Will take on any project [Yeah, I tend to try everything, then if I can't do it, that is the time I give up. But this rarely happens]. Yeah I could agree on this one ... HA HA HA HA]. Can be VERY irritating to others when they try to explain or tell a story [I guess so ... he he he ... a lot of people hates me]. Unpredictable [It is what keeps me unique]. Will exceed your expectations [SURPRISE!]. Not a Fighter [I disagree], But will Knock your lights out [he he he].

So Tired Today

Posted By Junelle on December 14th, 2007

Last night, my son was rushed in the hospital because we were afraid he would be dehydrated since he has LBM. Good thing when he was checked, the doctor gave him a medicine to drink and he wasn’t admitted. The doctors loves him, since he is such a cheerful child. I always say, “Mababa ang kaligayahan.” Though not admitted, the doctor advised us to observe him.

I stayed up late because I am watching over my daughter. And when my parents arrived, together with my baby boy. I went to my room and slept.

Every now and then I keep on waking up because my baby boy is not used to sleeping in a bed, and he keeps on crying. He was looking for a “duyan.”

I feel so tired right now. I think, I have to sleep early tonight.

Big Brother tasked the house mate to teach everyone a tagalog word. Will was the one who taught Riza, and when it came to Nagbabadya word:

Nagbabadya ako na Mahal na Mahal ko Ikaw.” Sentence created by Riza

And Will’s reaction to this is: “You make me nervous.”

Well, well, well …

Here’s the video of last nights episode.

OpenSource For Mac

Posted By Junelle on December 13th, 2007

My dear friend Polito helped me in looking for the right stuff for my Mac. He himself uses MacBook Pro on his work, given by his boss (Lucky him). So here is the MacBook OpenSource list.

Somehow, I feel secured. Because I know I could rely on Paul on a lot of things.

Muchos Gracias Polito.

Lab Equipments

Posted By Junelle on December 12th, 2007

I love CSI, the TV series and I admire the way they work in solving cases. I always pretend I could have those tools they have in their lab to re-enact what they are doing. I just wish the Philippines would buy Lab Hot Plates to be able to solve cases like the CSI’s on the TV does it.

Torrey Pines Scientific have Lab equipments that are useful for laboratories and clinics. If you want to avail its products, it is easy to order. It accepts credit cars for payment and ships all over the world. And the best about it, is their customer service, that promises to give an answer to your concerns within a day.

They are open for suggestions, so if you have a product on mind that they don’t have, feel free to inform them. I am sure they would be more than willing to give you what you need.

Can’t Search on Google

I wonder why I am getting this, is this because of my Mac? I never experienced this before.

Dealing with Mac

Posted By Junelle on December 12th, 2007

If you are using mac then you do not need computer backup storage because it has built-in storage system. Everyone need to backup computer files because data can be damaged anytime. Some companies are providing remote backup for websites. Due to latest hacking software data security is essential. Many file sharing programs are used for illegal purpose.

I love windows but I currently transferred to Mac because my Dad bought me this MacBook. I was excited at first, to have this beautiful thing. But for less than a week of using it, I was broken hearted. I miss Windows!

As our Tech chatted with me about my Mac, I told him, “there are things I can do with windows, that I can’t with Mac.” This is how frustrated I was when I found out that I have limitations when using Mac. Here are the following:

  • I downloaded Yahoo Messenger for Mac thinking it would do the same as the one I have on windows. To my dismay, it doesn’t have the features that I often use. I am a project manager and therefore I often send mass message to my team mates. Mac version of YM does not have “send to many” feature. Also, I keep on forgetting things, so I also rely on the YM archive, in which again the Mac version doesn’t have. Poor me!
  • From this, I keep on searching for a better alternative for a messenger to give me the things I needed. My friend suggested Adium, but she clearly stated that there is no webcam support on this one. It’s okay with me, since I rarely use the webcam for YM, but I found out that the link on status message is not showing on this messenger. I love clicking on the status message of my friends if there’s a link attached to it.
  • A friend have this Trillian Astra in which I think would give me what I need, but he gave me the .exe version of its installer and .exe doesn’t work on Mac.
  • I searched for something to make it work. I found Darwine, downloaded and installed it, but it doesn’t seem to work.

I AM FRUSTRATED! And thats just the messenger part of it :( There’s a lot more…

Strike, Holiday?

Posted By Junelle on December 11th, 2007

The office is confused now, since December is a month of holiday, there will be a lot of no office days. Here’s the bad news again for the Management, STRIKE. A national strike for 2 days is said to start tomorrow. Not all of us are wealthy enough to buy our own cars, so thats going to be a problem. Who could work on those days?

Holiday on the 18th, would the company risk this day again for a no office day? Poor clients … no workers to work on their tasks on a lot of days this December.

Sexy for a Mom of Two

Posted By Junelle on December 10th, 2007

Yesterday, I had my hair cut. Most people say I look prettier if my hair is short. So, now, every time it goes long, I cut it.

The person cutting my hair was shocked to see my Princess Hannah.

“Your daughter?,” he asked.
I proudly answer, “Yes.”
“You have a kid now Ma’am?” Asked again by the stylist.
“Yes, I have two now. My girl is 3 years old and my boy is 5 months old.” I explained.
“WOW!, you don’t look like you have kids. [In dialect, WOW maam ha, pa simple ka lang ha.] The stylist complimented.

This is just one of the feedbacks I have been getting these past few days. People seem to be in shock on how I manage to stay fit from being a BIG MOMMA that I used to be. I am still Big, but I guess I look pleasing now than I was before.

I am overwhelmed of some people’s reaction on what I look now. I am loving it.

[I am not going to mention on how FLIRT my X's are to me now.]
