BEFORE & PRESENT

Ann, Karen and Yen were the closest friends I had during college. Though, I have too many during those days, they were the ones who I am seen with often.

Last Valentines, it was them I am with. Even though we haven’t seen each other for a long long time, we could still feel the bond between us. Good thing, that even our friendship had has its ups and downs, I am proud to say that we survived it and we’re still intact. Karen is leaving to go to Canada this March, and the 3 of us will be left here in Iloilo to continue our careers. But the 3 of us also have plans on going out. We just don’t know yet when it is going to happen.

(Made a lot of edits since I first posted this … I noticed a lot of grammatical errors. SHOOSH!) 

I’m sure every one of us wants a faster Ethernet connection. The common problem we have before as internet coffee shops and other businesses owners is this. Because even though we have better and faster connection server and modem when it comes to net working especially using more that 10 computers. Ethernet speed is affected well before because Ethernet speed was not as faster as we have right now especially in the introduction of DSL and other broadband connection.

Unlike today the existence of Standard Ethernet CAT6 cable helped a lot, The cable standard provides performance of up to 250 MHz and is suitable for even higher 10Gigabits Ethernet. Ethernet and supports communications at more than twice the speed of CAT5e, the other popular standard for Gigabit Ethernet cabling. Performance of the signal path will be unlimited now.

Fourteen years ago was just like yesterday, when I was still cuddling this young man beside me. Now, he is taller than me, not to mention I am 5’7″ tall. Time indeed fly so fast. My neighbors call me Baby Girl, thats the nick given to me by my mom. Now, they use to tease me I am not longer a baby girl, now I am Big Girl.

Well, it would be just a matter of time, that I will see my kids grow up. I just hope they’ll grow up knowing good manners and right conduct, plus a kind heart.

(teary eyed) Ooohh, I am getting old!

Good thing I have started fulfilling my dreams already.

We are nursing graduates of class 1995 and we are planning to celebrate our first batch of reunion 13 years after we graduated. Next year will be the best time to hold our reunion since most of my batch mates working abroad will be going home and that they will have enough time to prepare for this event.

I will propose that, its better if we will be have our batch medical id. A gold bracelet or a pendant or necklace would be preferable. Something that engraves our name, school and year we graduated. A simple remembrance for the memories of our batch and love for our school aside from the class ring and nurses pin we already have.

My Aunt who works as a nurse in California once told me a story about the 911 incident that happened to her house. One day, she was so in a hurry to go to her usual morning hospital job and forgot to de activate the alarm. And in just a span of minutes the police are already in her backyard. Security is so important now a day especially in our home.

Better if you are using trusted name door locks equipped with home security device. Like Schlage trusted name and maker of popular consumer and commercial locks for 85 years now. With quality and best design door hardware but with out sacrificing home security.

I hope smart would call me today so that I could get my smart plug-it this afternoon. I have been waiting for this for months now, and the woman in charge told me yesterday to wait for a call today, so that I could get the device this afternoon … Amen.

(side things) Stomach is again not in good condition

Not bad for KC’s first time on acting a heavy drama. I could feel her That means she was good at it.  The story again made me have a teary eye, but I was not too focus on the TV so I was not really feeling it fully. I could see myself on KC’s character on being strong and doing everything she could to save something meaningful for someone we love.

I don’t like what her mother did to her, if I was she, I won’t put the guilt to my daughter … telling her that she was the reason why her father died! What kind of mother is she … to put her 19 year old daughter into that pressure. Aaaarggh I just cant get some people.

Anyway, KC’s character was lucky to have someone who loves her truly and fully. It has a nice ending.

Yesterday, I had a lunch together with my friends. It is indeed nice to have a get together again, after a long time not seeing each other. We will have a date again this Sunday. We are going to watch a movie.

We all love Max, and so we did have our lunch there yesterday. But, we had some unpleasant experience with it. Here’s our story:

I made a reservation at Max, February 13, 2008 for 4 people at 12nn to 1pm of February 14, 2008, because I know since it would be a Valentines day, many would go there. So, I had that reservation, thinking that we would have our seat upon arriving there, because our time is too precious to be wasted waiting. Also, because we have work and we need to get back to work after lunch, that is why we need all the time we could get to have a chat and eat.

My friend Ann and Yen arrived earlier than I, so I told them to just get in and get the reservation that I made.  They were told to wait for 10 minutes. I arrived and still there were my friends on the entrance door sitting. I asked them what happened? They told me, they are still waiting for our table. The Max crew pointed us on the table we were supposed to sit (on the right side). They are still cleaning it because it was newly vacated. So we waited at the entrance. We waited too long now, so we asked a crew of our table, then the crew pointed us to AGAIN a newly vacated table (this time at the left side). SO again we waited, but they had already taken our orders. However, we were shocked when a crew let an old lady and her family (who just arrived) sit on the table we were supposed to sit (on the left side) that they pointed to us. Now, we were complaining, we keep on saying, what’s the use of reservation when they couldn’t let us have our reservation and younger faces doesn’t deserve respect? We were really upset with the service Max had given and I was so humiliated because my friends trusted me with that reservation that I had, but weren’t given to us. After a LONG LONG LONG wait (I think its was 45 minutes wait), we finally had a table. Our food were then brought to our table. Because we were so happy, we forgot all those waiting concerns. We then eat because we were already too hungry from the wait. In the middle of it, we noticed that we were only given one glass of iced tea. We then catch the attention of the waiter and asked for our remaining iced tea. So the waiter did get it and gave us our iced tea. Again, there’s one thing missing! A truffles for a Max menu for two (a valentines promo). So again, the waiter gave it to us.

We finished eating and then left Max … of course we were late now for work!

Aaaaahhh! What a really bad service we had at Max SM Delgado, Iloilo. But still, the food is satisfying! Please upper management of Max. Discipline your crew … we really had a broken heart with that kind of service and treatment given to us.

Remind me to order lots and lots for myself next year

Is that question often being asked? For me, I don’t usually ask it, nor someone ask me of it. This morning, I kinda did ask Paul about his sleep, because I think he slept with a guilt this morning. And I was really scared that he won’t chat with me anymore. He replied when I did asked him, I am satisfied with it.

After that, I checked Kit’s messages to me, and there it was, “hows your sleep?” Its a great feeling to know that when I care enough for someone to ask that, someone cares enough to ask me of it as well.

Life is indeed getting better, I just hope Paul won’t be too guilty on the things we chatted last night. *Sigh* I like it when he is open, yet it scary when he is too open about everything … this happens!
