Testing Drupal

Posted By Junelle on March 31st, 2008

Drupal has been awarded as the best CMS last year (2007). Because of that, I want to explore more about the said CMS.

I think that this blog of mine has been overused. So, I have created a new blog that is on a Drupal CMS. Check: Babsy.

Babsy is my nickname, that is why I used that said URL. Intiendes goal is for you to know me better, but it seems that when I monetized it, a lot of post had been made that somehow did not describe me as me. I complain a lot, about things around me and I want to express it in writing. So, I have made that blog in which I could post my ramblings. Hope to see you there as well :)

Weekend Was So Fast

Posted By Junelle on March 31st, 2008

Apparently, Hectril didn’t go to Boracay. So, weekend was spent with Family.

Saturday was fun, I met my friends and knew something about professional Cameras. I want to have one :P My friend Dexter is a photographer by profession. He graduated as computer engineering like me but was able to go to US to be a photographer. Lucky him! See his works at Flickr – Akean.

My children are so fragile now. One wrong move and they get hurt easily. My daughter doesn’t want attention to be put on her baby brother and the other one just cries when he is not given much attention. Yesterday, we slept too long in one bed :) I was happy that finally we were able to have our rest for about 4 hours – a long sleep. Weekend Was so fast … I knew it wasn’t enough for us to have a rest. Notice, I haven’t even posted anything this weekend – I was so busy.

Feeling of Importance

Posted By Junelle on March 28th, 2008

Hectril (the father of my children), is going to Boracay with his girlfriend this weekend. He informed his dad about this days ago. But silly Tito asked him, “Does Junelle know about this?” — My reaction? DO I NEED TO KNOW? he he he. But yes, I do know about it. I guess Tito didn’t know that his son, would be with a GF.

I guess Tito assumed we were okay, since we all had a fun time at Carles.  There was this tickling activity that Hectril really loves to do because he loves to see me in pain! I couldn’t breath of laughing … and I was salivating (I dont know if this is the proper word, basta GA – LALAWAY) already … eeeeww. Perhaps tito saw that his son is SUCH A FLIRT! Keeps on licking me as if I am an ice cream. YIKES

Today, Hectril informed me that he is going home … Again … DO I NEED TO KNOW? Well, it is good … sign of respect … I wish he would have a fun time at Boracay with his girlfriend.

Me, this weekend? I will be attending a kids party tomorrow with my daughter. Since it is my friends niece, it would be a great time to bond again with friends. I’ll give you pictures when I have it.

Happy weekend everyone.

Being Aware of Colon Cancer

Posted By Junelle on March 28th, 2008

Recently, our former President Corazon Aquino has been diagnosed with Colon Cancer. The media made it a big of an issue and eventually informed the public more about the said cancer.

I was curious about Colon Cancer, since someone (I am sorry, I could not remember who it was) told me that if you try to stop yourself from doing poo-poo, you might get that. There are cases in my life I tried to stop poo-poo because of some valid reasons (place, occasion, situation, etc), and because of this I am worried that I might have this said sickness. Much more when I saw the symptoms.

” Symptoms of colon cancer are numerous and nonspecific. They include fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, change in bowel habits, narrow stools, diarrhea or constipation, red or dark blood in stool, weight loss, abdominal pain, cramps, or bloating. Other conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (spastic colon), ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, diverticulosis, and peptic ulcer disease can have symptoms that mimic colorectal cancer. ”

If you often visit my blog to check updates about me, you might remember me saying that I have slimmed down without doing anything at all. Now, that is one symptom. Another, is that I often constipate (which lead me to have hemorrhoid) and that of course my stool would have blood in it.

Aaahh well, good for former President Aquino to have that sickness to make the public aware of such. I will visit my doctor soon :P

Headache Due to Eye Stress

Posted By Junelle on March 27th, 2008

Yesterday, Hectril gave me a copy of Warcraft III installer, because I was addicted with it when we were at Carles Shangrila.

Without wasting my time, I immediately installed it on my Toshiba Laptop (windows xp) and start playing with it.  I lost track of time and I felt a slight headache; That lead me to check the time, it was already past 2 am. I finished the stage I am playing and saved and sleep.

Its like I am having my cholesterol boost up … I need my glasses again … where have I thrown that one? :P

Enough for a Day

Posted By Junelle on March 26th, 2008

My friend Kit was able to buy a site and added it to his hosting. He did it on his own, without asking me too many questions. He has been a fast learner, it was like yesterday that he bothers me with lots of questions. Good to know that every word I say, he puts it on his mind.

I guess I am a good teacher then.

I have influenced a lot of people to start blogging and even influenced them to be addicted with it as well.

I have said my piece to Polito. Sorry to disappoint you dear one …  perhaps one day, I could give you what you want. I guess today is just not the right time … nor was the day before this one. Thank you for understanding … in God’s time … we will have our dreams.

Mood: Happy … was even laughing a while ago …

I just like it when someone says bad about someone :) I quote “I am a WAR FREAK.” To think, my friends do stay with me, knowing my attitude. I say, they are a friend indeed.

Coming from someone who became a special part of my life, such a compliment. I know ah … GWAPA GID KO YA!

HA HA HA

OO na … basi gapa dayaw dayaw ka man —> GWAPO KA NA AH!

Honestly, of all the boyfriends I have had, ikaw lang gid man ang gwapo :P

Proud to be Recognized

This is what we look like most of the time. Sit in front of the laptop, play or surf the net with a very slow connection from Smart Bro Plugit.

Little to my knowledge that the informations I have submitted at MoneySense magazine was posted in this months issue. I am so proud that I have been given such recognition. Thanks to my friend Glady who posted an article that lead me to buy the said magazine. Well Glady is so proud as well, because Bacolod is the top 1 and all informations written there are all hers. While, Iloilo is on the top 5 and it was Marcos from Explore Iloilo and I who combined forces to share how proud we are of the land in where we grew up. To tell you, Glady is from Iloilo too, she just moved to Bacolod 4 years ago.

All I could say about things happening now: It PAYS to be a BLOGGER!
