Going to the Church

Posted By Junelle on September 30th, 2008

Since I lost my money, I thought of ways to earn it back by working harder than I used to. I ask for guidance, since I usually stop at Molo, I decided to always pass by Molo Church and attend the mass everyday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Usually only a few people would attend the mass, but yesterday I was shocked to see the church is full. There was a “Lai” celebration.

I won’t focus too much on me being at the church, because I want to share how evil I am when I got home. I was at peace when I was in the church praying that everything would be okay with my family. I admit, I am not a church person before, but recently I just find it calming and that everything is on its place when I go to the church and pray. So, I got home late and my mom starts to ask questions like, where have you been? – I answered, in the church; why so suddenly you go to the church often? – I answered, why is it a sin now to go to the church?; who is with you this time? – do I need a company to be able to go to the church? I was really pissed because I don’t think I need to explain myself to her and her just having doubts about what I do just … aaarrrgh!

OKAY! I am a bitch but that was before … or I am not playing as a bitch right now! I wish I was with someone or I am with someone now, but I have no one … that is also one of the things I prayed, for me to find someone that is really meant for me or is a good match for me.

Haaaaay … I just feel so tired … I just want to get out of the house … but I can’t! I have no money and I don’t have a house of my own yet or saved any for it … May I get the money that I deserve to finance all our needs and wants.

AMEN

My Song for My Lost Wallet and Money

Posted By Junelle on September 23rd, 2008

I really felt like I lost a boyfriend since I lost my wallet with 12K in it. Now, I have a lot of fears. One is I am scared to hold money because I might lose it again.

Anyway, here is my song:

All those sleepless nights
All the tears I cried
All the pain I kept inside
I kept asking myself why
You had to say goodbye

Was it just a dream
When you said to me
That there is someone new in your life
You could have at least lied
The truth just scared me

Chorus:
Even if…
You mean the whole damn world to me
I can forget you, wait and see
I can be strong even without you
I cant waste my life forever
Hoping youd come back to me
But deep inside I know
Ill be waiting here for you

(instrumental)

Even if…
You mean the whole damn world to me
I can forget you, wait and see
I can be strong even without you
I cant waste my life forever
Hoping youd come back to me
But deep inside I know
Ill be waiting here for you

I Lost My Cute Wallet

Posted By Junelle on September 22nd, 2008

First of all, I want to say that in my bag I carry two wallets; one is for coins and the other is where I keep my ID’s, credit cards, atm’s and cash.

Recently, I have been using my cute wallet to put in all my cash since it is easy to carry and I could put in my card to withdraw.

Hours ago, I have withdraw the cash on my account. I put it all on my cute wallet. The total cash on that cute wallet is more than Php 12K. But I am giving the 10K to my mom, since I owe her that much.

I went to Toy Kingdom at SM City (Iloilo). I just canvas for prices of toys. Then I went to Forex to get my Xoom remittance. As I took my big wallet on my bag, I noticed that my cute wallet is missing. The guard told me, “Ma’am sorry the system is offline now, you can’t get your remittance.” I then stopped and took all the things in my bag out. There I knew, my cute wallet is missing.

I lost all my money!

Good thing I still have my mobile phone, so I called my Mom. I told her to fetch me at SM City because I lost my wallet.

When my parents arrived, both of them were so angry on how careless I was with the money that I lost. Then as we drive home, I just cried. I cried because I could remember all those sleepless nights and the sacrifice to not be with my children because I have to face the computer to earn a bit of extra. As my parents notice me crying, all they do is comfort. Ironically when they arrived to fetch me they were saying; “You know you are carrying a huge amount of money, yet you didn’t secure your bag. Anyone who would bump in you could get your money.” Then when they knew I was feeling terrible and was already crying, they were saying, “Don’t think about it too much. It’s just money, you could have it back. Though it’s a huge lost but you could earn more.”

Well, that was it. I felt really bad right now. But I am just thinking, whoever had my cute wallet may need the money more than I need it. Also, I am glad that my client’s money was not included on that lost.

I still have a headache now … and my whole nerves are shaking … I just can’t believe what happened … all the sacrifices I have done for that money … yet lost in a blink of an eye.

The Rain Caught Us

Posted By Junelle on September 22nd, 2008

This morning before I leave the house I secured myself from rain. I have a jacket and an umbrella. I went out together with Mommy and our helper to bring Hannah to school. Mommy had a rain coat and so does Hannah. Our smart helper thinks she is waterproof so even it was already raining, she didn’t bring an umbrella.

As we ride a jeep, the rain gets stronger. When we drop by UP, my mother told me to just give my umbrella to our helper since I have my jacket to protect me from the rain. So I did give her my umbrella. So, as we walk along UP to ride another jeep, the rain was really heavy and my jacket is already absorbing the water. My pants is also wet and so when I look back, I saw my daughters’ socks is already wet, and it was dirty since the water seems muddy.

While waiting for another jeep, it gets worst. So my mom decided to just go home. After all, I couldn’t bear to go to the office dripping wet.

It’s hard to travel when it is raining without a car … grrr why did my dad so OA and repainted it with just a small scratch … soo OA!

My Vote is for Batang Yagit

Posted By Junelle on September 20th, 2008

Usually when I see a Batang Yagit on the streets asking for money, I don’t give them any. Simply because I was taught that if I will feed them that way, they will grow up to be a sucker, and not a doer. I always believe that everything you wanted could be achieved with a hard work.

A Batang Yagit was nominated for the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards and is asking for a vote.

Now, why I am giving my vote to this Batang Yagit online?

  • His campaign to vote for him has reached me.
  • I think he worked hard enough to earn votes.
  • I think he is persuasive.
  • I like the design of his blog.
  • I like his logo.

Now, to thank the sponsor for the Philippine Blog Awards 2008.

Preparing for Hannah’s 4th Birthday

Posted By Junelle on September 16th, 2008

Since Hannah is in school, we only prepared a small party for her. When she saw the invitation I made, she immediately gave it to our neighbors. She’s so excited that she cried when I took the invitations off her hands – she was giving 2 invitations to 1 person, that’s why.

So, I comforted her and explained to her that she should give it to her classmates. She always says:

“Gwapa Hannah, away mo.”

Anyway, I have bags for give-aways. There would be a buko pie, salad and a juice for her classmates. At home we have a litson baboy, pancit, salad and whatever my parents could think of.

I am not decided yet if I would take a half day to be with my daughter during her birthday, but I guess it would be nice if I would.

===UPDATE=== I just read my horoscope from friendster and it is:

The Bottom Line

An upcoming family gathering offers you a chance to reconnect. Make plans to go.

In Detail

An upcoming family gathering offers you a great opportunity to reconnect with someone who can give you a fresh perspective on where you want to take your life — so make every effort to go! There are patterns in your life that you want to change, and it’s the people who love you the most who can help you do it. Instead of resisting their input, take it all in and be grateful they care so much about you. You’re lucky to have these people as a resource, don’t take it for granted.

=== ALL RIGHT! I am taking a half day off tomorrow. ===

Weekend is Over and this time a Busy Week

Posted By Junelle on September 15th, 2008

I think I failed my exam yesterday, but I was able to teach my daughter how to write A, B and C. I was told by my Mom that a teachers helper approached her and told her that Hannah is so intelligent only if she listens, because she was able to catch up things easily. Indeed I noticed that my daughter wasn’t such a hard headed after all, because she could absorb things easily if rewarded by chocolate. The sad thing about it is that she is prohibited of chocolate.

I have a lot of tasks this week plus my daughter’s birthday is coming.

Busy, busy, busy …

Another Busy Weekend

Posted By Junelle on September 13th, 2008

Here’s my schedule for today: (I don’t even know if I could make this fit on one day)

  • Teach Hannah her lessons. We started on writing letter A and we just finished it – next letter B and C, and objects starting with those letters. Last night we did counting and she is good in it, didn’t have any problems :P I’m a good teacher :P WHY? She absorbs everything quickly, with one magic word: CHOCOLATE! You’ll have a chocolate if you get it right … TSOTOLEYT MOMMY! hahaha
  • Review HTML, CSS, JAVA, PHP, MySQL and image editing for the company exam tomorrow
  • Update 5 websites!

Tomorrow

  • Company exam
  • Shopping with family

Scary Mommy

Posted By Junelle on September 12th, 2008

I noticed that everytime I sit in front of my computer, I couldn’t care of anything but what I am facing. I am just too focused on what I am doing and if I am disturbed, I could be like hell.

Just a while ago my daughter was disturbing me, so I shouted. She hurriedly went out of the room because she knows I don’t want to be disturbed.

I really need enough time to earn more and be a good mom to my kids.

Grrr… stress is making a monster out of me …

I’ll Be Back in Manila

Posted By Junelle on September 11th, 2008

I went to Manila last Saturday to attend the WordCamp event. I was just there for a day because it was my grandmothers birthday the next day.

The Cebu Pacific who offers an affordable flights in the Philippines has been a big help for me.

Who would have thought that I could do it in one day; to travel from Iloilo to Manila, attend a huge event and then go back to Iloilo. As proof, I have these boarding pass to show that I did make it in just one day.

ilomanT

maniloT

It is only Cebu Pacific that offers the earliest flight from Iloilo to Manila, and the latest flight from Manila to Iloilo.

Luckily, I was able to arrive Manila 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time of arrival. So, I wasn’t late on the big event.

Because of the hectic schedule that day, I wasn’t able to spend time with my friends who works in Manila. They were telling me I have to go back, so that we could have a get together. I would indeed be going back to Manila, not only for my friends but for my family as well.

I would be bringing my family to visit the Oceanarium in Manila Ocean Park. I have heard great things about it. I know my kids would enjoy the experience and they would learn a lot from it.

Manila, I will be back!
