The “heat and stress” is causing me to have acne.  I can’t do anything to fight those two, so I resorted to have an online search for ways to treat or prevent acne. I landed at Proactiv website and found out that it is endorsed by famous or well known entertainers; such as Mandy Moore [...]

Being Aware of Colon Cancer

Recently, our former President Corazon Aquino has been diagnosed with Colon Cancer. The media made it a big of an issue and eventually informed the public more about the said cancer.

I was curious about Colon Cancer, since someone (I am sorry, I could not remember who it was) told me that if you try to stop yourself from doing poo-poo, you might get that. There are cases in my life I tried to stop poo-poo because of some valid reasons (place, occasion, situation, etc), and because of this I am worried that I might have this said sickness. Much more when I saw the symptoms.

” Symptoms of colon cancer are numerous and nonspecific. They include fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, change in bowel habits, narrow stools, diarrhea or constipation, red or dark blood in stool, weight loss, abdominal pain, cramps, or bloating. Other conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (spastic colon), ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, diverticulosis, and peptic ulcer disease can have symptoms that mimic colorectal cancer. ”

If you often visit my blog to check updates about me, you might remember me saying that I have slimmed down without doing anything at all. Now, that is one symptom. Another, is that I often constipate (which lead me to have hemorrhoid) and that of course my stool would have blood in it.

Aaahh well, good for former President Aquino to have that sickness to make the public aware of such. I will visit my doctor soon :P
