Since I lost my money, I thought of ways to earn it back by working harder than I used to. I ask for guidance, since I usually stop at Molo, I decided to always pass by Molo Church and attend the mass everyday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Usually only a few people would attend the mass, but yesterday I was shocked to see the church is full. There was a “Lai” celebration.

I won’t focus too much on me being at the church, because I want to share how evil I am when I got home. I was at peace when I was in the church praying that everything would be okay with my family. I admit, I am not a church person before, but recently I just find it calming and that everything is on its place when I go to the church and pray. So, I got home late and my mom starts to ask questions like, where have you been? – I answered, in the church; why so suddenly you go to the church often? – I answered, why is it a sin now to go to the church?; who is with you this time? – do I need a company to be able to go to the church? I was really pissed because I don’t think I need to explain myself to her and her just having doubts about what I do just … aaarrrgh!

OKAY! I am a bitch but that was before … or I am not playing as a bitch right now! I wish I was with someone or I am with someone now, but I have no one … that is also one of the things I prayed, for me to find someone that is really meant for me or is a good match for me.

Haaaaay … I just feel so tired … I just want to get out of the house … but I can’t! I have no money and I don’t have a house of my own yet or saved any for it … May I get the money that I deserve to finance all our needs and wants.

Last Saturday, I went to Manila for the WordCamp Philippines. My father woke me up an hour before I have set my clock to alarm, but I didn’t complain since I was really excited to be on the WordCamp.

Around 4:30 AM we arrived at the Iloilo Airport. My father just dropped me off gave me instructions and left. I waited for a few minutes before the airport opened. I fall in line together with other passengers. I have my Ticket and ID checked upon the entrance. Bags were scanned, shoes were taken off and a body search was done. After the check, I proceeded to an officer that gives out a boarding pass; I have shown my ticket and ID.

After I got the boarding pass, I went to the 3rd floor to pay for the terminal fee which costs Php 30.

There was again another check. I checked my boarding pass to see what gate would I be using to board the plane. Since I have still enough time to eat, I ate at JD.

I was so happy when I found out that I would be seated at the window side.

The flight arrived Manila 15 minutes earlier than scheduled, which was about 7:30 AM.

I went out to look for a Taxi and found a metered Taxi at the side of the Airport Exit at NAIA 3. The metered Taxi from the airport is expensive than the regular taxi, the starting meter for an airport taxi is Php 70 while the regular is only Php 40. But, the airport taxi’s are new and cool – it even had a receipt on its metering board.

The taxi dropped me off the first La Salle gate we found, yet it was the wrong one. Then the taxi driver told me, just walk it is just around the corner, and I did walk, but I already paid him Php 200 for the metered ride. Anyway, I again saw a La Salle gate but I was told, it was on the next gate. So again I proceeded to walk. Finally, at the third gate I have encountered the correct entrance for WordCamp Philippines. This was about 8:00 AM.

The event was really fulfilling, though I planned to have pics with more people, but my time was so limited. But the important thing is I have picture with the father of WordPress – Matt Mullenweg.

I wasn’t able to finish the event because of the fear that I might miss my flight home. I got nowhere to go. I left the venue 3:30 PM. I was at the airport early. I walked in, have my ticket and bag checked. Proceeded to get my boarding pass.

Paid the terminal fee which this time costs Php 200 and went to the gate designated for my flight.

I was able to arrive on the right gate by 4:30 PM.

My flight was delayed for an hour, so I had a lot of time walking back and forth in the airport. Here are my pics:

I arrive Iloilo 8:30 PM and I am scheduled to go to Guimaras. So my cousin drove me from the airport to Iloilo – Guimaras fort. From there, I paid the boat to immediately go the Guimaras so that I don’t have to wait for a long time.

Upon arriving at Guimaras, I took tricycle to go to Avila in where my Grandmother would celebrate her birthday. I arrived my Avila house by 9:30 PM.

I ate and slept. It was really a tiring day.

I woke up 8:30 AM and had my breakfast, then by 11:00 AM we had a mass to celebrate my Grandmothers 80th birthday.

It was nice to be with my family again in Guimaras.

We went back to Iloilo by 6:00 PM.

That was my weekend!

This morning, as my daughter Hannah woke up, she told her Lola Mommy (my mom); “Love love ko si Lola Ting (her grandma on her father side), di mo away si Lola Ting ha (Translation: I love Lola Ting, don’t fight with Lola Ting okay).” Good thing my Mom is in a good mood, she just smiled.

Anyway, my daughter have a fever and sore eyes. She might have miss her other lola.

High Definition Multimedia Interface or HDMI has become the standard audio and video connection for high-definition home theater gear.
My father bought some tools to have some theater like audio surround sound at home but I haven’t seen an HDMI cable. Anyway, I have read that HDMI doesn’t really promise a good quality audio or video. So, I guess my father have read that as well and went for something that promises good quality.

My daughter is just 3 years old and a brat as I always say. She wanted to do things on her own way and does not enjoy studying at all. If she gets a hint that she is being taught, she would make a scene just to get out of that situation.

My daughter is a kid, studying as Kinder 1 in a private school in where I graduated my elementary and high school and I know she needs to be taught academically, but is it necessary that she would be full focus on her academic subjects and left her other activities hanging? She is a KID and I wanted her to enjoy life, because time is gold and she will never be a kid again.

I enroll her on ballet because she loves to dance, and she loves to show off her ballet skills whenever she plays with our neighbors.

My mother doesn’t have enough patience to teach my daughter things she needs to learn about her subject in school. And so do I. That is why I let the family on her father side take care of her during school days and teach her what she needs to learn. I was expecting they would do that, plus the fact that her other activities won’t be affected – her ballet. Her ballet class is only once a week and not even for an hour. But, they choose not to let her attend her ballet class because they wanted to teach her some academic lessons.

As I mentioned, my daughter does not enjoy studying. So it would be useless to force her to study and left the activity she likes most unattended.

With this, I will be reminded that the family is too easy to give up, or too easy to get out of responsibility. May they find peace with that kind of mental capacity.

Anyway, a friend of mine told me that he knows someone that is lazy to study during elementary to high school, but when college came, the person graduated Cum Laude.

I don’t study as well. I was brought up with no tutor, no help from anybody. I remember when I was young I used to ask my mom to help me with my assignment, but all she could tell me is that “Your lessons are too advance, we don’t have like that before and I don’t know what to teach you.” With that, I learn things on my own, and I am proud I was able to. I am just an average student, yet with the ability to learn things on my own. I have been put to a position in where I manage people. Yes, a manager for an average lazy student, now a hardworking professional.

I know a lot of people who studies hard, even memorize a book, but they do not succeed in life. Why so? Not everything is written in the books, but mind could explore so many things without having a book. Where did people get the idea to make a book anyway, to invent something unusual, to have an internet, etc. Did they read it from books? I don’t know, I am not fun of reading.

It is not really about studying, it is enjoying life as it is and learning while doing so.

My son will again be admitted at the hospital. I just don’t know what to do now!

Since the storm Frank hit our place, our telephone line went dead. We haven’t paid our phone bills for about 3 months already because I was the one supposed to be paying it and I just haven’t had enough money to do so. We thought that the phone company already cut us off.

Last week, our phone was back on again and we received a bill. The date due for the payment was July 14, 2008 and so we have the whole week to decide whether to pay for it or not. My mom keeps on saying, that we shouldn’t pay for it and we will just leave it until it cuts off again. She said that with an angry tone.

I was thinking that it would be hard for us if we don’t have a landline, so I just paid for it since it is supposed to be me who is paying for it.

Just awhile ago I saw her on the phone and she seems happy using it.

My mom … really just want to get away with expenses. I really don’t know where she spends all our money.

I always like to give gifts in a special way and I wanted it to be presentable. So, my cousin Bevelyn turned 24 last July 9, 2008. So, I gave her something to make her happy for that day. Oh, I told her to take some pictures for me to see how happy she was or how sad she was when she got the gift
