Cheese is one source of nutrients. Therefore, it promotes good health for family. With the health benefits we could get from eating cheese on a regular basis, it is best to spread cheese recipes that we know.

On December 14, 2009 Kraft Eden will attempt to set a Guinness world record for crafting 5,000 dishes out of cheese, breaking India’s record of 4,668. Cooking enthusiasts, culinary students and chefs will gather for a battle royale featuring Kraft Eden products.

Share your cheese recipes now, to contribute on this record breaking event. I have done my part by being a member and submitting a Cheese Pimiento recipe. Upon signing up, I was able to receive an email containing a Yumm Gift Pack Coupon which I could exchange for a surprise gift during the event.

I have chosen to submit Cheese Pimiento, because it is one of the famous cheese recipes and kids love it. We always have this menu every party we have at home. My cousin was the one who taught me this and she knows a lot of cheese recipes. I would surely invite her to join and convince her to submit cheese recipes that she knows. Share yours as well.

An update with my cholesterol

I had headache last week, and I suspect it my cholesterol is high again, so I went to a medical laboratory and have a lipid profile check. My triglyceride level was high and so I went to my doctor. She said that I need few more tests to confirm what has been causing my headache. I wasn’t able to have the additional tests on the next day because I was over the time limit. For your information, the fasting that they said no eating after 12 midnight, they say fasting is minimum of 6 hours to a maximum of 12 hours; in short, it doesn’t have to be after 12 fasting, it has to fit within those time limit. Without that knowledge, my last meal was 8 pm the night before, then I went to the laboratory 11 am.

I hope my doctor could give me the best diet pills there is, so that I would be healthier.

I am Still Slimming Down

Everyday I am worried!

It is indeed flattering when someone compliments that I am slimming down, but I really don’t plan to. An advantage of it however, is that I could walk without getting tired fast.

I have been eating as much as I could since I receive a lot of compliments of slimming down. Even after lunch I would buy something to eat. I sometimes feel that I am beginning to have a headache due to my cholesterol intake. Whenever that happens, I relax for a while then eat again after the headache would be gone.

Yesterday, my neighbor is beside me in a public transportation (jeep). She keeps on looking at me and looks like she is wondering. Then finally she asked, “Are you Baby Girl?” Then I replied, “Yes.” Baby girl is my nickname and most of my neighbors knew me in that name – eventually it became BIG girl since I am not a baby anymore. Back to my neighbor; she told me I look different because I have slimmed down and that is why she was in doubt if it is really me or someone who just looks like me.

This morning, someone gave me same compliment as well. I was thinking, yesterday I ate 2 slices of a delicious cake from Coffee Break that cost Php 35 each. I guess, I should choose another cake then make it 3 because obviously I am not eating enough to gain my cute chubby figure again :P

I watched a movie last night saying that in Kenya, women who are large are considered rich and beautiful. I guess as a chubby or fat lover, I see things like they do. After all, you won’t get fat unless you have something to eat :)
