You don’t need strength to let go of something. What you really need is understanding.

The “heat and stress” is causing me to have acne.  I can’t do anything to fight those two, so I resorted to have an online search for ways to treat or prevent acne. I landed at Proactiv website and found out that it is endorsed by famous or well known entertainers; such as Mandy Moore [...]

Jun Hannah’s 7th Birthday Preparations

Posted By Junelle on September 8th, 2011

Months ago, I have already planned the party. I am glad I did because it was just early this month that I got to confirm everything; the venue, motif, guest to invite, program and the invitation. Everything seems to be fine now, but it went from a crazy planning to a crazy spending. All seems to be worth it if Hannah will enjoy her party.

For now, I am drafting her birthday party invitations to be given to her classmates Monday next week.

Good Luck to me!

Hotel Del Rio is having a Facebook contest for this Summer and I let Hannah join.

Contest Mechanic: The entry that receives the most NUMBER OF LIKES BY MARCH 28,2011 @ 2:00PM WINS!!!

I have asked a lot of my friends to “like” the picture but most of them are having a hard time understanding it, so I decided to make this step by step instruction on what to do.

  1. Go to Hotel Del Rio Facebook page – http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hotel-Del-Rio/123506771368
  2. Click the “like” button on Hotel Del Rio Facebook page (See the pink arrow below that points to the “like” button). If you can’t see the like button, you probably have liked it before and you could proceed to the next step.
  3. Go to Hannah’s Easter Bunny Picture – http://goo.gl/d5yL5 (This is a short version of the URL, because it was super long)
  4. Like the picture (See the pink arrow below that points to the “like” link).
  5. Done – Thank You!

Comedy and Me

Posted By Junelle on January 17th, 2011

There used to be four genres of Literature; tragedy, epic poetry, lyric poetry and last but certainly not the least comedy. It used to be taken seriously but during the Christian Era, Dante’s work of The Divine Comedy had caught a lot of attention because it has been discovered that people enjoys or laughs at black or dark topics in which they shouldn’t.

What is life without comedy? I always want to have friends whom I could laugh with and dump those who causes burden. Life is too short to bother, so I always see to it I have a good laugh once in a while.

In conclusion, we all need a good laugh. It has been proven that laughter is the best medicine, though sometimes a few people dies of too much laughing.

My Artistic Hands

Posted By Junelle on October 6th, 2010

I rarely get tired whenever I do some crafty things with my hands. I knew, since I was young that I love making and fixing (if not breaking it) things.

Last September 26, when family and friends were roaming around the mall, I noticed a scrap-booking event by “All About Scrapbooking.” Curiously, I asked how to join the activity and when I discovered I am qualified to join – I did! I immediately informed my artistic friends, maybe they too would want to join.

So, I spent my day at the Mall that time when it should have been just 2 hours.

I really enjoyed that event and here are my pics:

As you could see, I am enjoying and much more because I won a lot of things from this event!

One of my friend passed me by but didn’t bother me because she said I look very serious and that I am concentrating. Perhaps it is true, because my mind works at its best when my mouth is shut – this would explain why I am a blogger.

Things They Say About My Former Company

Posted By Junelle on April 29th, 2010

They say the former company I was in was “lousy” but those ones who say so learned everything from that company or at least thru it.

To those people, this is what I can say:
Now that you are earning more than you were earning there you are so proud to even appreciate everything that company had done to you. No one is perfect and I guess same goes for companies, specially those ones that are new. I am not saying I have no complaints, it is just that – I appreciate that if not for that company, I wouldn’t know the things I know now that puts food into my mouth. For that I am thankful.

It’s just sad to know people like this exists – as they say “Ang di marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan, di pararating sa paroroonan.”

Good luck to the wealth you have now.

My Room

Posted By Junelle on January 20th, 2010

My room is my personal space and I think for majority as well. In my room is a TV, aircon, 2 computer tables, a cabinet, a dresser and a queen size bed. It is just a half the size of my parents bedroom.

My parents have this huge Masters Bedroom with two queen size bed, CR, dresser, cabinet, 2 small tables, aircon and used to have TV.

Long ago, when I was working night shift my Mom decided to transfer to my room for one major reason which is to save electricity; so that only one room will be using aircon, one on TV and light. It seems reasonable, so I agree. Anyway, that time I only sleep for 2 hours a day so I really don’t stay much at home. Now I am a freelancer, so most of the time I am home and in my bedroom.

There was a time when I traveled for 3 days with my friends, and came back home that my room was re-arranged without my permission. I don’t know what you think, but for me it was a big deal – IT’S MY ROOM, MY SPACE, MINE MINE MINE! But I let it pass, since all of us are sleeping in my room (YES ALL, including the helpers! Of all the rooms in the house; guest room, maids room, masters bedroom, my cousins room and my room – my Mom chooses to be in my room.) However, as I do my daily activities I would always require our helper to look for things they kept when they arranged my room. This irritates me because if not for the re-arranging, I could have looked for it myself and would have found it in a minimum time, even if my room is messy.

Right now, I am just pissed off. But what can I do, this is not my house to manage! This is one of the major reason why I wanted to have a home of my own.

Patience …

Outer Banks Homes

Posted By Junelle on January 15th, 2010

I like living on a seaside, so if you do as well, better find your own Outer Banks homes. The only thing I am having problem living on a seaside is the rust. Things or metals easily get rusted because of the sea breeze. This is the reason why in our house, the windows are often close just to avoid the salty breeze coming in and eating all the metals. Aside from that, the fresh air and view are beautiful.

Irony of Things

Posted By Junelle on December 19th, 2009

I am PRO-Life so even if I get pregnant accidentally, I would embrace that life. Someone close to me said that she too felt the same way, and even said that if the Aetas on the streets could afford to bring up a person in this earth, what more for a person living in a house. That really struck me, because I haven’t thought of things that way and truly, Aetas live without an assurance whether they could eat for a day.

The irony? That same person who told me about the Aetas was the same person who lost a child because she drunk medicines to abort the child.

Sad isn’t it? The moment you could say things and mean it, but just a blink of an eye, your decisions might change.

I remember when I was younger and watching TV, seeing those American teens having sex without even meeting the person’s family, I would say “How could they do that, I would never be stupid enough to do things like that.” But then I came to a point in my life that I wanted to be adventurous, so I was able to do things I never thought I would.

I am happy on how my life has turned out. Learned many things that I am proud of. I could even say that I have learned some things that my mother hasn’t even learned.

If only I have something with me to write during times thoughts would storm my mind, I would have shared many things to you.

Until my next thought …

Be careful with drugs

Posted By Junelle on December 12th, 2009

I don’t know why people get into those addicting drugs that could ruin their life, but I had my friend told me that most people get into it with just saying, “I want to try it once,” then they would end up having been over dose of it.

There are also a few who would go into drug rehab, but once done, because of the bad society ends up going back to it again. I really don’t get some people.

To a Certain Prince

First of all, I don’t know what drama you are talking about because there was none until this drama you just created. The feedback you have given, was not that big deal to me – I value the opinion of others. You assume too much without even consulting me. You could have message me on my YM and ask about those things you accused me of. You choose to leave me a message AND didn’t give me a chance to reply. That’s LOW!

DRAMA … too much DRAMA!
