You don’t need strength to let go of something. What you really need is understanding.

The “heat and stress” is causing me to have acne.  I can’t do anything to fight those two, so I resorted to have an online search for ways to treat or prevent acne. I landed at Proactiv website and found out that it is endorsed by famous or well known entertainers; such as Mandy Moore [...]

Growing Old Together

It always touches me when I see two old people caring for each other.

I grew up not seeing those scenes in the place I call my home.

On my father side, my grandfather left my grandmother for another woman. Until now he is living with that woman and they have children. But my dad still supports him, including his children from this other woman.

While on my mother side, my grandfather married the sister of my grandmother when she died. The grandmother I grew up with is not really my pure grandma, thats why I feel distant. I often quarrel with this grandma of mine (may she rest in peace).

All in all, I think I have never felt what they call the grandma love, though my grandpa (mother side) always massage me when I like to be massage (I miss my Lolo – rest in peace).

I think with that I could say my children are lucky to have grandparents on both sides loving them.

I grew up with a broken family (on the grandparents side). Thats why I am so proud that my parents are still together even with the trials they have encountered. They have a strong bond of love. Maybe the reason for this is the patience of my father.

I don’t like what is happening to my life now, but I have to accept things as they are.

I just wish, someday … I would have that someone that will be on my side until all my hair turns to grey … to the last breath …

My grandparents, on both sides, passed away when I was still very young. I hadn't have any memory of of my grandparents on my father side and very little on my mother side.

It's really nice to see old people still together and still in love with each other.
