Hannah’s Linggo ng Wika

I was absent from work this morning, because I attended my daughters school affair. Its their “Linggo ng Wika.”
Linggo ng Wika, is celebrated for Filipino’s to be reminded of our culture.
My daughter is wearing a Filipiniana dress, this is the dress worn by Filipina’s before. I like Filipiniana dresses, it is simple and comfy. I even suggested to my mom, that on my cousins wedding, they would use this design. Its good to look at and its cheaper compare to other gowns.
The last time we were so proud of her dancing. Now we bought a new cam, just to record her.
Joining me in this event was her Lola Nelly (my mom) and her Lola Ting (her fathers mom). We were all proud, watching her on the stage, singing and dancing.
After, the event we went to SM City Iloilo to eat. She was roaming around the mall as if she owned it. I got tired running after her, but my absent was all worth it.
I could never turn back time, and I am happy that my daughter is growing up to be what I wanted her. I am soo proud.
For my daughter: If later you learn how to read and read mommy’s blog, always remember that Mommy loves you soo much.
