Yesterday, I have read a former colleague’s blog testing the “SEO Goddess” as keyword to top on search engines. So, I tried it myself. I was able to post yesterday with a title SEO Goddess, putting short text within it. Today, I checked Google and Yahoo for the said keyword, and I was the top on both (click the screenshot I made for a larger image). Unluckily, I was nowhere to be found on MSN.
I haven’t done anything to promote the said post, I just post it as is. Search engines just crawled and indexed it and put me on the top.
I don’t know much about SEO, and everyday is my adventure in learning it. I am proud to say that even if my website has gone PR4->PR3 and now PR0, it still has the power to top in Search Engine Results. So, is PR important? It is, in some instances. But the most important thing is, a fruitful content you have in your blog, for readers and search engines to capture.
