The “heat and stress” is causing me to have acne.  I can’t do anything to fight those two, so I resorted to have an online search for ways to treat or prevent acne. I landed at Proactiv website and found out that it is endorsed by famous or well known entertainers; such as Mandy Moore [...]

Kraft Eden

Kraft Eden

Cheese is one source of nutrients. Therefore, it promotes good health for family. With the health benefits we could get from eating cheese on a regular basis, it is best to spread cheese recipes that we know.

On December 14, 2009 Kraft Eden will attempt to set a Guinness world record for crafting 5,000 dishes out of cheese, breaking India’s record of 4,668. Cooking enthusiasts, culinary students and chefs will gather for a battle royale featuring Kraft Eden products.

Share your cheese recipes now, to contribute on this record breaking event. I have done my part by being a member and submitting a Cheese Pimiento recipe. Upon signing up, I was able to receive an email containing a Yumm Gift Pack Coupon which I could exchange for a surprise gift during the event.

I have chosen to submit Cheese Pimiento, because it is one of the famous cheese recipes and kids love it. We always have this menu every party we have at home. My cousin was the one who taught me this and she knows a lot of cheese recipes. I would surely invite her to join and convince her to submit cheese recipes that she knows. Share yours as well.

A cheesy nation, is a healthy nation.

Food Trip Time

I noticed that I eat when I’m troubled.

Recently there are a lot of things putting pressure into my heart and mind. Because of that, I can’t relax. I need some energy to power me up, and so I eat and eat and eat …

Good thing the stress is consuming all energy and fats that the food is giving me.

I won’t get bigger that I tell you … and watch how I eat when I am troubled …

Recent: I just ate pork chop with rice, currently eating baked zitti with white sauce from Sbarro (full order), later-macaroni salad from Sbarro … oh and a large raspberry juice, but soon to be empty … I’ll just fill the cup with water.

I am not even feeling FULL! Imagine that …

The Kwaho Cravings

Posted By Junelle on September 2nd, 2008

I don’t know how it spells; kwaho, kuaho or cuaho. It is just pronounced as “kwa-ho.”

Some of you might be disgusted on the way it looks or the way it is cooked, but for me what matters is, when it reached my mouth and when I chew it, those juicy-licious flavor runs from my tongue to the inner most of me. hehehe … seductive … sexy taste of what I call FAT!

I discovered this by the time I started taking a public transpo – JEEP, because gas or fuel are just too expensive!

So, from the office I take a ride on Villa jeep going to Molo. From Molo, I take a ride at Oton Direcho which would directly bring me home. Seems like a simple schedule to follow, but when I reach Molo and smell the aroma of those BBQ, I can’t help myself but to have a taste of it. So one time I saw this weird looking thing, never seen before BBQ. I asked the BBQ man, what is it called. From there, I heard the name of something that I would mention from day onward – KWA-HO.

Every time I stop by Molo, it would be heart breaking for me if I could not buy that KWA-HO. So, I get to spend a lot of my money buying it everyday and eating it on the jeep going home.

A relative of mine saw me once, while I was eating the kwaho. She told me that it seems I was hypnotized by the flavor of the BBQ. Namit namit gid! hehehe …

So yesterday, I passed by the BBQ stand at Molo, only having Php 45 on my pocket. Kwaho sells for Php 10 per stick and my public transpo going home would cost Php 15. I was really forcing myself, “don’t buy, you won’t have any money until the 5th and that would still be 4 days from now.” Well … I did spend my Php 30 on the kwaho.

That’s the temptation I am getting now … and it is just SOOO hard for me to stop myself. It is like I am a pregnant woman who’s having this cravings … but I am not pregnant. So there seems to be no explanation as to why I am having this … ooohh so yummy BBQ cravings …

Anyway, since I have no money left. I asked my mom for some … she gave me Php 500. I’ll try my best to stop myself from buying kwaho today. oh please … oh please …

My Mom Dressing Me Up

Posted By Junelle on July 29th, 2008

When I was young, I would remember my Mom dressing me up. Until I was older that I always say no to the dress she is making me wear. When I was on elementary I like to wear maong pants and Tshirt. This goes on until college. I was more of a boyish kind of girl and I dress and act like one. I have a friend who does the same thing on a different sex :P

Last week, our neighbor told my mom that she really liked the way I look using a certain kind of clothing. My mom was really happy about it, and because of that feedback she bought me a shirt. Most of the time, I don’t like shirts that my mom had bought me, because we have different taste in fashion. However, this one clicked. I wore it yesterday and I feel comfortable wearing it. I also feel pretty in it.

I am just happy, somehow my mom is back to pampering me with this kind of situations. She bought me a launch box yesterday because now, I am bringing food from the house to lessen the expenses we have.
