Scapegoat – one that is made to bear the blame of others.

A week ago, I had this conversation with someone I knew once upon a time. This person mentioned to me the word “scapegoat” by saying “Don’t use our family as a scapegoat into what is happening to your life.”

That was my first encounter of that word, so I searched online for its meaning. I am not that good in English vocabulary, but I was able to understand its meaning.

That person and I ended up in agreeing that we won’t bother each other or blame one another for what has happened or will be happening into our life, because as that person said: “It is your life, it is how you make it.”

I agree. In fact, I strongly agree with it. Little does that person know, that I don’t blame others for my mistakes. I am responsible of my actions. With that, I accept consequences.

This morning, I was shock by a message sent on my mobile stating “Be careful Junelle. When I arrive there in Iloilo and we meet, you will pay for what you have done to my mom.”

That is a threat right? And I was used as scapegoat. Now, that was bad! On my reply, I explained my side and then later I knew that the person just accused me of something I have not done. There is someone bothering their mother with (I guess) rude messages.

Honestly, I don’t know anything about it. In fact, I thought last week was the closure of my involvement with that family. I was happy to have that closure, because at last, I have my freedom again.

For Your Information: I don’t use any identity to hide myself. I am not a coward. If I want confrontation and I want to tell you that you are ugly, I do it using my known number, name, email or I would tell you personally. So don’t accuse me if you don’t have enough evidence to prove it is really me. Investigate before you accuse. I could sue you for threatening me!
